Bethesda Adult Life Training Center
Computer Repair

Each resident will have an opportunity to build and maintain his own computer, which he will be able to take with him upon successful completion of the program. If they are interested they can learn how to be a Computer Technician and get an A+ Certification.

We jointly operate a Computer Refurbishing Project in conjunction with the Tulsa Computer Society. This generates a number of older computers for the students to work on as they learn Computer Repair, and it generates a lot of spare parts which they can use to repair other computers. Once refurbished, the computers are donated to schools, churches, and non-profit agencies, both in the local area, and all over the world. The largest donation was 100 computers which were sent to Russia.

We also developed a number of tools and procedures which we use ourselves, and which we have provided to some other Computer Refurbishing projects which we have helped start.
